Had I
Procrastinated for one day
Slept a little longer
Complained about my situation
Waited for political stability
Or for somebody to come and help me out.
After enrolling in so many courses
Assignments being rejected every time I tried,
It was very easy to give up.
“If I get this, I will do this ..”
It was easy to land among 99% of the people who give up in such cases.
Or wait for the ideal circumstances.
But little did I know that life was preparing me for greater things to come.
Those rejections were blessings in disguise.
That’s how it distinguishes the winners from the losers.
I was to belong among 1% of the tiny bit of the world who rock!
Allah blessed me for my prayers, my efforts and the despair I fought with.
